There’s something about this photoshoot that makes me feel like I’m in 1930′s New York & I absolutely loved every moment I spent with Jess & T. Besides the fact that no human can find fault in the perfection that is Jess & T, I loved how everything came together so beautifully during our photo session; the attire, the broody weather & the unquestionable love that was present throughout it all. Jess & T’s engagement has a very special spot in my photographer’s heart.

Sarah & Russell are a legitimately nice, down-to-earth & awesome couple who I had the pleasure of photographing during this engagement session. Every couple is so different in front of the camera & I love being able to capture the unique love that two people share & that no other couple can truly replicate.

I’m not so much of a morning person, but I do get excited about morning photo sessions; there’s nothing like that soft, glorious morning light. This engagement session was such a nice way to get to know Maddie & Rowan and we had a pretty awesome time exploring the Brisbane CBD together. Love my job!

I love watching the sunrise – there’s always something beautiful about a new beginning, another day of life, of starting anew; & there was no better two people to watch & experience it with than the amazing Joemana & Michael, who are at the beginning of their lives together, starting something new for the very first time. There are those that love, & then there is Elizabeth & Emanuel who seem to be able to portray love itself in what they say, what they do & in what they show. This day, was beautiful; a holiday, a day out of days, a day that settles in your memory for you to remember & look back on fondly. Not one minute of it felt like work & the love that Elizabeth & Emanuel showed one another was effortless & sweet. It was plain to see that “…love is patient, love is kind.” 1 Corinthians 13:4.

There’s something quite eerie & mysteriously breathtaking about watching the sun rise over the ocean. Thanks to Andra & Adam’s wonderful idea, we set our alarms for an early 3:30am start, making our way down to the coast to admire the beautiful break of dawn & God’s amazing handiwork. It was well worth the lack of sleep!

I was so excited when Cristina contacted me for an urban portrait session – she had some amazing ideas & I loved that she new exactly what she wanted! Though I’d never done anything like it before, I took a much needed day trip to Southbank the day before the shoot to put on my ‘post-modern’ creative glasses & that with Cristina’s gorgeous, photogenic & creative self as well as bribing Jared with a little chocolate, we got this pretty awesome outcome!
